Background and Aims After many years of extensive activities in various fields of plant pathology The Israeli Phytopathological Society (IPS) was established in 1968. Since then the society has been active in promoting the diciplines of plant pathology, namely, phytopathology (sensu stricto), virology and nematology by organizing meetings on both national and international levels, by publishing professional reports, directories and newsletters, by granting fellowships, etc. IPS Meetings Members of the IPS meet annually for a two day Congress, generally held in February, where recent achievements both academic and applied are reported and discussed. 18th - 21th Congresses: abstracts of the presentations were published in Phytoparasitica (1997-2000)  |
